Changes to the Macaaw Public API.
We add to the API without breaking existing integrations: new endpoints, new optional fields and new webhook triggers can appear at any time, so ignore fields you do not know. Breaking changes would only ship in a new version (/public/v2), announced well in advance.
30 October 2026 — v1.0#
- First public release of the Macaaw API: documents, text tags and form fields, embedded signing sessions, tasks (server PDF tools), webhooks with signed payloads and retries.
- Sandbox keys on every plan; live keys on plans with API access.
- API logs (30 days), allowed embed origins and webhook delivery history in Account → Developer.
- OpenAPI 3.1 document at
/public/v1/openapi.jsonand a Postman collection.
Coming later#
OAuth 2.0 apps, official SDKs, templates, contacts and folders are planned but not yet available. Authorization: Bearer is reserved for OAuth and currently answers 401.
