Integrations connect Macaaw to the tools you already use: save results to your cloud storage, tell your team in Slack, automate with Zapier and pass approved invoices to your accounting system. The integrations page lists every integration that works today.
Before you start
- Most integrations need a Pro or Business plan. Xero and QuickBooks Online are for Business workspaces, because they work with Invoice check.
- In a Business workspace, the owner and admins connect Slack, Xero and QuickBooks for everyone. Members see whether they are connected. Everyone connects their own Google Drive or Dropbox.
- An integration shows Coming soon when Macaaw is still setting it up, and Not on your plan when your plan does not include it.
How to connect an integration
- In your account, open Integrations in the workspace part of the menu.
- Find the integration and choose Connect.
- Sign in on the other service's page and allow access. You come back to Macaaw with the message … is connected.
- Change its settings on the same card, for example the folder for saved files or the events Slack is told about.
Each card shows the account it is connected to, who connected it and its Last activity.
How to disconnect
Choose Disconnect on the integration's card. Macaaw asks the other service to cancel its access and deletes the stored token at once. Nothing already saved in the other service is deleted.
How to request an integration
Under Want another integration? choose Request this next to the ones you need. On the public integrations page you can vote too. Choose Requested again to take your vote back.
If something goes wrong
- Reconnect needed: the other service no longer accepts the connection (it was removed there, or it expired). Choose Reconnect.
- Switched off on Slack: Slack said the webhook no longer exists. Paste a new webhook address with Change webhook.
- Only owners and admins can connect …: ask an owner or admin of your workspace.

Which integrations does Macaaw have?
Zapier, Slack, Google Drive, Dropbox, Xero and QuickBooks Online, plus OneDrive and SharePoint in Macaaw Scan, Google and Microsoft sign-in, CSV and Excel export for Sage and other accounts software, and the public API with webhooks.
Can I ask for an integration that is not listed?
Yes. The Requested list on the integrations page and in Account › Integrations has a Request this button. The most requested ones are built first.
Does Macaaw see my passwords for the other service?
No. You sign in on the other service's own page. Macaaw keeps only an encrypted access token, which you can remove at any time with Disconnect.
