About deleting PDF pages
Scanners and printers often add blank pages, especially when a single-sided document goes through a double-sided scan. Reports can have cover sheets, adverts or appendices you do not need to send. This tool removes the pages you choose and keeps everything else exactly as it was, so text stays sharp, links keep working and there is no change in quality. The thumbnails make blank pages easy to spot. You can type page numbers and ranges, such as 1, 4-6, or click pages to select them. You cannot delete every page; at least one must remain. The result is a new file named after the original with -edited added, and your original is not changed. If you want to keep only a few pages from a long file, Extract pages is quicker because you list what to keep rather than what to remove. To fix the order or turn sideways pages, use Reorder and rotate.

Delete pages: frequently asked questions
How do I remove blank pages from a scan?
Look through the thumbnails, click each blank page and press Delete pages. Blank pages are easy to spot at thumbnail size.
Can I undo a deletion?
Your original file is not changed, so you can start again with it at any time.
Will the remaining pages change?
No. They are copied exactly as they were, including text, images and links.
Does deleting pages make the file smaller?
Usually, yes, because content used only by the deleted pages is left out of the new file.
