About rotating PDF pages
Scanners, phones and fax machines often save pages on their side or upside down, and a document that mixes portrait and landscape pages can end up with some pages the wrong way round. Rotating fixes how each page is shown. The thumbnails show the result before you save: each click turns a page a quarter turn clockwise, so one click fixes a page scanned on its side, two clicks fix one that is upside down and three clicks turn it a quarter turn the other way. You can also turn every page at once, which is handy when a whole scan came out sideways. Rotation is stored as a setting on each page, so the text and pictures are not redrawn or recompressed: text stays sharp, selectable and searchable, and the file size hardly changes. Links, bookmarks and form fields keep working. The rest of the document is left exactly as it was, including pages you did not turn. If you also need to change the order of the pages, use Reorder and rotate instead, and to remove pages use Delete pages.
Limits: one PDF per task, up to 25 MB with a free account, 200 MB on Pro and 500 MB on Business. Browser tools have no daily task limit. Very long files show many thumbnails, which may be slow on older phones.
Before you sign in, files can be up to 25 MB. A free account raises this to 25 MB.

Rotate PDF: frequently asked questions
Can I rotate just one page?
Yes. Click only the pages you want to turn; every other page stays as it is. The count above the pages shows how many will change.
Does rotating a page reduce quality?
No. Rotation is a page setting, so nothing is redrawn or recompressed. Text stays sharp and can still be selected and searched.
How do I turn a page upside down?
Click it twice. Each click turns it 90 degrees clockwise, so two clicks make 180 degrees. Use the turn-left button under the page if you go too far.
Can I rotate every page at once?
Yes. Use the buttons above the thumbnails to turn all pages left, right or by 180 degrees, then adjust single pages if needed.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The pages are drawn and rotated in your browser, so the PDF never leaves your device. This also works offline once the page has loaded.
