Questions
Manufacturers ask
Can Compare PDFs show changes in a drawing?
It marks differences in text and layout between two PDFs page by page. For drawings exported from CAD as PDF it shows changed notes, dimensions and title blocks. It is included in Pro and Business.
Does Invoice check need our ERP?
No. It reads the documents themselves, and you can export approved lines to CSV or Excel for your ERP or accounts system.
Is a watermark enough to protect a drawing?
A watermark tells people a drawing is confidential; it does not stop them sharing it. For stronger control, protect the PDF with a password and send the password separately.
What is PDF/A for?
PDF/A is the archive version of PDF: fonts are embedded and nothing depends on outside content, so a technical file opens the same way years later.
Can people on the shop floor use it?
Yes. Scanning and photo reports work in a phone’s browser, and Business members can be given roles so they only see what they need.
Can we send a certificate pack to a customer portal?
Yes. Merge the pack, then compress it to the size the portal accepts. On Business you can work with files up to 500 MB and 200 files in one task, and save the steps as a workflow for the next order.
